Model governor of Bohemia, hated by your pagan mother
and raised by a saintly grandmother, you vowed to live a
celibate life. You had great respect for priests and deep love
for the sacrifice of the mass.
Indeed, it was while you were praying in God’s house that
you were slain by your misguided brother. Help all of us –
priests, religious and laity - to lead exemplary Christian lives.
