The commemoration of Saint Micah, prophet in the days of Jothan, Ahaz, and Hezechiah, kings of Judah, who in his teaching defended the oppressed, condemned idols and wickedness, and announced the future birth in Bethlehem of Judah of a ruler whose going forth would be from the days of eternity and who would feed Israel in the strength of the Lord.
