Of Saint Raymond of Pennafort, priest of the Order of Preachers, a man distinguished in knowledge of laws, who wrote fittingly and fruitfully about the sacrament of Penance, and, when elected master general, prepared a new edition of the Constitutions of the Order and, at a most advanced age, died a holy death in the Lord at Barcelona in Spain.
